On the 22nd of February the Annual General Meeting of the Canberra Region Amateur Radio Club (CRARC) will be held at the CRARC clubrooms, Mt Mugga Scout Hall, Astrolabe Street, Red Hill.

Doors open at 7:30 pm and the meeting will commence at 8pm.

Amongst other business the meeting will:

• confirm the minutes of the last annual general meeting
• to receive from the committee reports on the activities of the club during the last financial year
• to elect members of the committee, including office-bearers; and
• to receive and consider the statement of accounts and the reports that are required to be submitted to members under the Act, section 73 (1).

The meeting will also consider and vote on proposed changes to the Club Rules (or Constitution) as follows:

• Change the membership year to start on the date a new member joins CRARC, or some other such date as the committee may decide upon.
• Remove the need for people applying for CRARC membership to have their application forms counter-signed by two members of CRARC.
• Enable electronic voting when online meetings are held.

The revised Club Rules as proposed are attached to this email.  This is a marked up 'red line' version clearly indicating the proposed changes.

Voting at CRARC General Meetings is restricted to financial members of the club.

Meeting agenda, previous minutes, committee reports, financial reports and committee nomination forms will be sent to CRARC financial members in due course.
