On the 23^rd of November there will be a presentation by Bob VK1ERF on the node-red automated shack concept at the CRARC clubrooms, Mt Mugga Scout Hall, Astrolabe Street, Red Hill.

Prior to Bob VK1ERF’s presentation there will be a short formal general meeting at 8pm.

The purpose of this meeting is to consider and vote on proposed changes to the Club Rules (or Constitution) as follows:

• Change the membership year to start on the date a new member joins CRARC, or some other such date as the committee may decide upon.
• Remove the need for people applying for CRARC membership to have their application forms counter-signed by two members of CRARC.
• Enable electronic voting when online meetings are held.

The revised Club Rules as proposed are attached to this email.  This is a marked up 'red line' copy clearly indicating the proposed changes.

Hi There,

My apologies, I have looked up the Incorporated Associations act for the ACT. CRARC is an incorporated association under the act. To change the rules of an association requires a Special Resolution to be passed at a General Meeting of the association. This requires 21 days notice of the meeting. This cannot be done on the same day as Bob Fryer’s presentation. We will hold the Special Resolution over to a future General Meeting.
