Good afternoon all,

First off, thank you to those who wished me well or came to
visit me whilst I was in hospital over the last 3 months. I’m now home for just
over a week and slowly improving and started back to work on reduced hours last
Wednesday, but it will be a while before I’m out & about much. 

A couple of years ago (pre Covid !!) the club received a box
of old technology in the form of various Vacuum Tubes (or Valves if you prefer)
together with a collection of such that I’ve had squirrelled away and it’s time
to start a clean-up of things down in the garage and with the approval of the
CRARC committee I’m offering these out to CRARC members in the first instance.

In the listing below I have tried to provide the ‘type’ as
per the markings on the tube/box and also provided some supposed equivalents
according to google along with a CRARC Member price. Please ensure you are
happy with the type / equivalent by doing your own research for anything that
interests you. CRARC Members will have until the end of November before the
listing will go out to other potentially interested groups like the Historical
Radio Society and on ebay. 

These are “New Old Stock” to the best of my knowledge and
nothing has been tested !.

There is more gear that I have yet to find, check & catalogue
once I can get down the stairs a bit easier. There will be a number of old VHF
& UHF commercial radio’s tuned up on 2 Metres or 70 Centimetres and programmed
for 10 watts to suit foundation licencees, but these won’t be done til probably
next year.
