Hi Cicero,
In fact I used this technique on Dan’s “Panama 1978-orig scan.jpg” challenge image from last year. It was very effective!

Re: how to turn your pencil sketch into vector drawing
I think it's a pretty good program for artist who want to convert a pencil sketch into vector.
There are lots of artist who would like to see their drawings on a computer screen.
Most of these

Why is the color blue so rare in nature?
Came across this article. It’s been discussed on this list before. Interesting read.

For me they are too cotton wool like. I tried creating one and blurring the edges to create more "wispiness" but it still wasn't cloud like enough.
A long time ago I went on a forum for image

Re: Linear profiles in combination with the PPW
This youtube just popped up and seems to have additional info and how to do Linear profiles in LR. I like this guy, Morganti. Less arm waving.

Interesting discussion with regard to the linear response. Capture One Pro also provides for a choice of linear response for raw development. I've begun to play with that setting while in Capture

If you would actually like to use a raw converter made by the same folks, you can try Raw Photo Processor (RPP). It is free, and you can unlock additional features with a donation (like gamut display

Hi
Up to about two years ago I worked on my RAW images by flattening them by flattening the linear curve in ACR as suggested by Dan in the MPCW book. As per the book unless there is a major colour
