I also emailed a completer order form and would like to know if it was received as I would not want to miss out on early ordering.

Thanks

My free version of Adobe Acrobat allowed me to create a digital signature--my very first digital signature!:-)

How do you do that?
Assuming you have Adobe Acrobat, you can do the following:
  1.  Save the PDF order form to your computer.
  2.  Open it up in Adobe Acrobat
  3.  Put your cursor in the Signature Field
  4.  It will then prompt you to create a digital signature. You can purchase certificates or use your computer. I just used my computer.
  5.  Just follow along the steps from there.

I have gotten to Step 4 where I created the digital signature. I will fill out the form later this afternoon.

I have Adobe Acrobat paid version that comes with the Adobe suite of products. I am assuming, though I might be wrong, that the free version of Acrobat should do the same thing.

I hope this helps.

Kevin

As of this time, 10:23a.m. PST, I have been through all the posts regarding submitted order files being rejected.

At 9:36a.m. PST, today Friday Jan 10, I sent my digitally signed order form (probably the form preceding your oder form #2) to the sales address that Sterling gave me in his post that is time stamped Jan 09, 2020 at 10:51p.m. PST. To this point in time I have not received any "system type" post saying that my post has been rejected.

In the face of this, I am therefore not completing and mailing a second order form using your form #2--or, should I be submitting an order using form #2?

Appreciate your further advice.

Doug,

The situation is such that Im not sure of what you were up to with Sterling, but one way or another an order came in from you at 9:37 PST for one book.

The question is paying WHOM. PayPal requires a recipient email address, a choice between paying to Friends and Family (fee-free) or for Goods and Services (recipient pays fee). The form lists tax as 7.5%, but that varies by state and locale.

I don’t know. The order form doesn’t require payment. It generates an invoice that gives instructions for the many choices one has. You can pay in Bitcoin if you like.

Paypal is the easiest way for us to accept payment, but we can also accept other types if needed. Just let us know once you receive the invoice. The invoice will come from paypal but if you want to pay some other way, just reply to it and let us know how you’d like to pay.

Thank you very much, Sterling, for your confirmation and all your assistance with Dan's book.

I will be sure to pay the invoice tomorrow.

Sincerely,
Kevin

Hello Ignacio,

You have gone beyond my pay grade, which is easy to do.

I just finished filling out the form. I did not get that error, so I am unable to advise you further.

I hope the rest of the process goes smoothly.

I do have Adobe Acrobat and I created a digital signature on my computer but I get this error:

Adobe Acrobat DC error.
Bad parameter.

I guess I’ll have to do it the old fashion way.
Thanks anyway Kevin

I skipped over this in my prior reply. So disregard my last comment. I might still be liable for GST when the book arrives.
