Hello All,
 
I have taken voice lessons with Mike O. this past year and a half ( FT or Zoom call) and now my senior elementary school son is working with Mike as he likes to sing and is in the school musical. So yes, to up his game!

Mike is great! He is knowledgeable, local, personable and professional. 

He makes learning and practicing- almost painless. Ha!

Highly recommend.

To second that endorsement, my son has taken piano with Mike O. for a decade. Mike is talented, good-humored, patient, and trustworthy. He's a professional musician (in a very cool band!), and he truly loves music. All these qualities helped my son learn to love music, too. Now he's a teenager, and he sits down at least once a day and plays for the sheer joy of playing, which is all we could have asked for. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Jessica Krash for piano lessons. She taught my son for about 5 years and has been teaching me for many more. She teaches both children and adults in her home, which is nearby in West Chevy Chase. She also teaches children to compose! Having interviewed and worked with several piano teachers, I found Jessica’s approach to be ideal. She really tries to figure out how each person learns and works with that, is flexible about choice of music to learn, is calm and kind.
