First-world query: I need to buy a lot of mini-croissants for an upcoming event. Any suggestions for sources? Don't need to be super fancy!

Giant may have them (and they’re very good) or possibly Whole Foods Market. Call ahead to check.

I would recommend Paul Bakery https://www.pauldmv.com/ . They almost always have an assortment of them (and similar things) as a counter item, but you will likely want to go through their catering to make certain they can provide the quantity you need.

Safeway usually has pastries/bakery goods in packages for ~$5. Mini or regular sized croissants, danishes, muffins, strudel, bundt cakes, etc.

Bread Furst is also worth a call to learn about their supply of mini-croissants and do check the price.

There is a Fresh Baguette on Wisconsin Ave. in Glover Park too! (1737 Wisconsin Ave NW, 888-648-0009).
Giant sells 20 mini croissants in a bag for $3.99. They're not fancy but they are- mini croissants from the bakery department. Good for events.
Before using to refreshen ~ preheat oven to 400* F. Flash cook croissants in oven for 5 minutes. If they will be used for mini sandwiches, slice before heating. And let cool off before filling. Hope this helps! Lisa G. - previous message - Fresh Baguette in Bethesda has them https://www.freshbaguette.net/
