Does anyone know what happened sometime this afternoon right by the Days Inn Hotel at 4400 Connecticut Ave. NW? Police were there around 5:15 pm this evening and I was told that shooting had occurred this afternoon. My "informant" had no further details, and I do not see any word on this incident yet appearing digitally in the Washington Post.
