Just checking — today I put an envelope in there, even as I noticed some silver spray paint graffiti on the part where it shows the collection days/time. Also, the slot where the envelope went in operated differently than the one in the mailbox I normally use. So, after it was too late and the envelope was already in the box, I wondered: is this mailbox at 36th & Ordway in service? Will my envelope be picked up? If you have successfully used this mailbox recently, please let me know. Well, I’d also like to hear if you know it is NOT in use.
