Several people I know use Guido at Bethesda Travel, https://www.bethesdatravel.com/. He appears to be an expert on all things Italian. He planned a trip to Rome and the Amalfi coast in Sept for some friends. Complete with drivers, cooking class at Castel Gandalfo and private boat trip to Capri. They raved about his knowledge and skills.
