A Classical Christmas @ Little Gallery #LittleGallery

Little Gallery is Ready for the Holidays with Art and Poetry
Our new exhibit features Jacques the Cat, Glenn Gould, sardines and oranges

Pencil Drawings: Robert Burchard – Faraday Place: Robert's drawings of classical pianist Glenn Gould were made when Robert was an undergrad. With retirement on the horizon, Robert hopes to start drawing again with classical music filling the room.

“Why I am not a Painter” a poem by Frank O’Hara: Read by Claire Pettengill - Woodley Park: Claire has loved poetry since she was a very small person and was delighted to find that she could have a career teaching literature as an adult. She loves introducing her students to all kinds of poetry, and even more, hearing about poets they love. O'Hara's poem contrasts the creation of art and poetry through sardines and oranges. Huh?

Collage: Carolyn Morrow Long - Tenleytown: Carolyn's collage puts her cat Jacques amidst reindeer and atop a Christmas tree. Each year, in holiday cards created by Carolyn, Jacque finds himself in new surroundings. This year, he is waiting for you in Little Gallery!

Visit Little Gallery to check out these local artists.

Kids, adults, comedians, collectors, and artists are all welcome. If it fits in a 1³ foot box or an mp3, it fits in Little Gallery!

Little Gallery is located at 4400 Fessenden Street NW
 and at www.LittleGallery.org
