NASA WB-57 out of Ellington (Houston) being used to support this.
Currently not slated to take off until 230pm CST.
When that takes off, it should give us a 30-45 minute warning.

Yes, this is the facility featured prominently in Contact, one of my wife's favorite movies. I like it a lot, too. Very quotable.

Our meeting on Tuesday, December 1 will be held on Zoom. Everyone is invited to join us. Details on how to participate will be posted sometime before the meeting. The topic for our December meeting is our Annual Wrapup. This is a chance to share what you have been working on this year and any rocketry adventures you may have had. It's been a strange year so I hope everyone will join us to catch up on what everyone has been up to.

Re: Reminder - #Launch CANCELED #Launch

Greg Smith

It’s the butterfly effect. BECAUSE we cancelled the launch, we didn’t move around as much getting ready, loading our vehicles, ordering stuff from Chris that caused delivery trucks to move. This created just enough change in the atmosphere to make the wind and clouds pass us by this weekend.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
