We have around 200 subscribers on this list, so when you are thinking of posting a message to the list make sure it is something that is suitable for all audiences and of interest to all, or at least most, of the people on the list. Since this is a rocketry group almost anything to do with rockets, your own or someone else's should be fine. Discussions of launches, meetings and other club activities are also on-topic. There are certainly other things that will be of interest to the majority of the people on the list, but give it some thought before you hit send.
Marking a Message "Spam" Might Automatically Remove You From the Group
If you mark a message from this group (or any groups.io group) as spam, either intentionally or accidentally via your email's spam filter, the system may automatically remove you from the group. Outlook for Saturday
#Launch
Greg Smith
We have a rocket launch scheduled tomorrow, Saturday, March 9, at Dodds Park in Champaign.
Setup will begin at 12:00 noon, probably in the north half of the Dodds Park soccer field parking lots. We can fly until sundown at 5:54 PM. There will be no waiver in effect for this launch. The forecast is breezy and damp: ----- Saturday - Showers and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly after 1pm. Patchy fog before 1pm. High near 50. Breezy, with an east southeast wind 11 to 16 mph increasing to 17 to 22 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible. ----- Doesn't sound good. I'll look at the actual conditions and post the final launch status to this list shortly after 11:00 AM Saturday, but don't get your hopes up. You can call me after 11:00 AM tomorrow at 217-840-1678 for information. Our next scheduled launch will be on Saturday, March 23. ----- Greg Smith N9LHI NAR 15881 * TRA 1974 Director of Operations, Central Illinois Aerospace GregS@illinois.edu 217-840-1678

It's a crying shame that it didn't come to the Savoy IMAX. I just couldn't find the time to go to Indy or Chicago.

Yes that is the same movie. I just happened across an ad for it but it was on IMAX and it said there, IMAX only. I didn't even look for it elsewhere.

It appears this movie has a very limited run in this country and is available only in IMAX. If you want to see it, you have only today or tomorrow to travel to Indianapolis or Chicago to do so. In a week, it will only be available at the museums in Washington DC.
One more time we people in downstate IL are out of luck.
I was really looking forward to it, much more than First Man.
