Putah Creek Migration Picking Up Steam

John Ehrenfeld

Putah Creek Riparian has been hot for migrants. Very birdy early starting at 7am near Hopkins parking lot in big oak trees. But also productive elsewhere until 11am.

Walked to Pedrick bridge on Levee road and then back on lower road near creek.

Hermit Warblers, Black-throated Grays, Lazuli Buntings, Bullocks Orioles, Ash-throated Flycatchers, Pacific-slope Flycatcher, Orange-crowned Warblers, Wilsons Warblers, Yellow Warblers, Green Heron and more.
