I watched an evening fly-into Northgate Park, Sacramento 95833. About 40 White-tailed kites roosted on redwood trees. Go before sunset or you will not see them. Keep your voices down it is a neighborhood. Flashing lights will scare them away. Be courteous to the birds and other people.
