Well, that was, predictably, a bit of a waste of time, except I managed to check a few herds of cattle in North-west Beds to make sure that they didn't have any Cattle Egrets* with them.

*Cattle Egrets in Bedfordshire are of course Schrodinger's Cat(tle Egret)s, and are either present or not-present in any field of cattle until a Beds birder looks, which collapses the wave function and causes them to become definitely not-present.
