Video display with BBC Basic

Dear Sirs,

Can you please tell me:
What instructions are used in BBC Basic to play a video film from a
drive (D:\ or a USB drive)?

Regards.

Salomon

It depends to some extent on how the video is coded (i.e. whether it's in an AVI wrapper or a QuickTime wrapper, and what the underlying compression format is e.g. MPEG-2 or MPEG-4).  You can try the 'media player' utility that you can find here.  If that doesn't work you can try the Direct Show code here.

Richard.

Ok.
I'll try them to see.
Thanks.
