The display window the program opened up was almost full screen. I suppose I could have dragged it down to see the code? Next time I get chance I will do that rather than close it in case the closing

Thank you for your investigation and comments. I just tried it again, I changed a letter in a PRINT statement and ran it. It told me 'Bad use of array' (It was followed by a TAB), I then had to close

Many thanks ... Yes I eventually found the right file, FIND did not locate VDU26 but I found it visually. I put 5 secs delay in and the window opens correctly. Sorry for all the hassle, and misreading

Richard, I have found sdlide.bbc in the tools folder. I have used FIND but cannot see a VDU26 in it? Virus-free. www.avast.com
