the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2
Not sure to which generation you refer. Someone reported that the new 3rd generation had changed with software replacing physical controls. However, I do not know if this applies to the 2 i 2.
What I can tell you is that the 2 i 2 2nd Generation is accessible. The gain knobs are physical controls. They have a little notch so you can feel their positions. I understand that there are indeed pretty LED lights that visually show something but as I can't see it doesn't bother me.
Be sure you know what generation you are thinking of buying. The 3rd generation maybe the same as the second and it is just the larger 4 i 2 etc that has replaced the knobs for software.
The manuals are readily available so grab one and read up on each unit.

It's my understand that the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 uses colors to help people judge their audio levels. What does this mean for someone who has no eyesight?
