That's neitherĀ a splitter nor a joiner. It's a trimmer. These are very different tasks, and there are appropriate tools for each task. MP3Mate work on MP3 frames, not digital samples, ensuring no re-encoding and no los of audio quality.

Most NCH software has a lot of limitations on the free version. That one sounds like a paid feature.
