re taking the blank bit out of my audio file
Goldwave is from goldwave.com. Its about the same as audacity, find the place in the file where the blank starts and hit the [ key -- when you open the file the [ key is at the beginning of the file.

re taking the blank bit out of my audio file
I would use goldwave, its very Jaws friendly and once you know the keyboard shortcuts, you will be able to do much more if you like. stewartross via groups.io wrote:

USB microphone
I have found the akg lyrica very nice, and it has several modes, so you can use it as a personal, mic, or front and back. There are several capsules in it and it has a stand, but you can unmount the m

Exact Audio Copy Question
In the filename tab, you can put a string with things like album\artist ... and those directories will be created with those names -- otherwise I am not sure what you are asking. Robin Frost wrote:

I think if you go into the menus and select eac options, and go into the filename tab, you will see what you need. Robin Frost wrote:

Total recorder question
I have been using kernel mode filter driver for years. I think those drivers are for earlier versions of windows, but I am not sure about that. Donald Roberts wrote:

Getting the realtek audio driver for my pc:
Can you go by the specific motherboard? If you have belark advisor, it will tell you the exact model and manufacturer and maybe you can go from there.

Can't you go to the hp site, find your product and download the drivers from there? I just recently had to do this with an Asus mb, maybe you have to do it by the mother board as well. Don Breda wrote

Computer Not Recognizing Pen Friend 2
Did you put new batteries in your penfriend2? If that still does not fix it, and you are not getting any sound, maybe that is why your computer is not recognizing the device, it is dead. Tom Kaufman w

I think the latest version of exact audio copy no longer uses freedb and there was always g3 or whatever the name is, not free, but still a decent choice. Brian Olesen wrote:
