Re: corrupted files
Aha. I should try that with the supposed discord sound files too as they
have no extension and I can't even figure out what format theyr'e supposed
to be. I want to change the sounds as I don't like

Re: corrupted files
Hi!
Audacity has a import feature that import just raw audio.
That might help.

Re: corrupted files
Good idea. Then you'll at least know what it is that you've got left, maybe.

Yeah...that's the only problem with "shift plus delete: if you have that habit (and I have the same "bad habit) once it's gone, it's gone!

Re: corrupted files
No, I think next, I'll try and editor of some kind. Maybe notepad or a Norton hex editor.

Re: corrupted files
It's possible that, even though you were able to recover the file records, the file data itself has been replaced with with 0s or perhaps some altogether different data. Even though you wouldn’t' be

Re: corrupted files
Well, I tried GoldWave and couldn't get any info or sound. VLC, switch, and foobar gave nothing, also.If I knew more about mp3 files I might be able to fix the appropriate byte and get 'em back.

Re: corrupted files
I don't find goldwave plays nicely with corrupted files -- the processing usuallyc rashes with an error. I think your best bet might be VLC. It is pretty robust and doesn't fall down easily. That said

Re: corrupted files
I usually use Winamp. or GoldWave. I also have foobar, VLC, audacity, and, of course, Groove and WMP; but I don't know those vary well. I guess I'll try loading a couple into GoldWave first and

Re: corrupted files
Hi!
What players do you have?
Vlc used to be able to play even corrupted files for me.
Foobar2000 might work.
Otherwise you might open them in gold wave and re save them and see if that works.
I guess

corrupted files
By accident, I deleted a folder full of music; about 600 mp3 files. I used recuva to get them all back. Well, they came back, the names and sizes look right, but now no audio player will play

Re: Zoom F6 update - Has anyone got their hands on a F3?
Hello Jamie,
I assume you have a F6. Do you use the F6 Control app? If so does your menu button work every time?
Thanks,
Georgina

Re: Zoom F6 update - Has anyone got their hands on a F3?
Hello,
If you mean the firmware update it is easy to find. Here's the link.
https://zoomcorp.com/en/us/field-recorders/field-recorders/f6/f6-support/
You may get a dialog asking about language.

Ah yes the booth Junky is indeed correct. The NT1-a did replace an NT1. Hence the a for anniversary. Then when the new 1 was made I forget when they took the A away again and that's the current NT1.
