Re: Zoom F8n Outdoor microphone recomendation
Yes that’s the one.
I only bought the microphone for Podcasting and it does well at that and probably wouldn’t be any good for Andy and the application he’s wanting.

Hello Dane,
It probably was the ATR 2100 which is the first mic I purchased. However, it’s noise floor is pretty bad. I recently obtained a used Shure SM58 which is far superior. I purchased a used

I am not a big fan of the road pro caster, although I do like some of of the other road microphones. I tried the pro caster and didn’t like it on my voice. It was way too basic for my liking.

Re: Ferrite Recording Studio
Now there's an interesting idea, Sound Forge For IOS or Android? I wonder.
Seriously though I have Sound Forge Audio Studio and Professional 12 for Windows and Pro for the Mac.
It wasn't all that long

Dude I'm still so jelus. I so want 1 for the quality. Don't get me wrong I love my H6 and I do love it's sound. But the F recorders seem to be so close to Sound Devices stuff. I'm looking at the $600

Hello,
I see from here that the Procaster is indeed a XLR microphone but some people do use a UsB converter, not recommended

Re: Zoom F8n Outdoor microphone recomendation
Yes I believe the F8n is easier than the H6 to operate and I say this having
used both units.
The Zoom F8n has a bigger learning kerb when it comes to the minu system but
that won't prevent you from

Hello,
It appears Amazon have a big saving on the Procaster. It doesn’t state the connection. It usually states if they are USB so I assume it is XLR. Which would mean you would need an interface

Always love to hear about new recorders too and I do very much love my Zoom F8N as I did my Zoom H6.
I would - if I had my time again however - not have bothered with the H6 in the first place for

Hello,
It is difficult to answer your question regarding the Zoom. I have just purchased the H6 and I like it. Although, I do long for accessibility. I have access to AIRA so have used agents to
