Can anyone tell me if it is possible, and if so how, to do what I want in
Sound Forge 9.



I want to be able to lower the volume of part of the middle of a file. But I
don't want it to just step down and up from one level to the other, but
rather fade from the higher level to the lower level over a half second or
so, remain at the lower level for the length of the selection, then fade up
again.



Any help would be appreciated.
