Locked Good CAT and/or Omnirig Plugin?

Ruben Navarro Huedo (EA5BZ)

Hello Airspy Friends:
I have been looking for a good CAT and/or omnirig for SDR#.
An Omnirig Pluging would be GREAT for hams becouse SDR# could follow our Radio.
Is anyone available?

Thank's a lot.

HDSDR support that already.

I know Adam...also SDR-Radio, but i like SDR# and i want try to use it for that purpose.

There is a CAT plugin for Sdr#, its called sdrsharp-catcontroller
Its been a while, the but when I did try it previously, it worked very well. Presents sdrsharp as a TS50
Find it on Google and/or gitHub

I tested it some time ago, but it is bery "basic".
Omnirig support could be wonderful !

I will take a stab at getting the current version to build and expand the feature set.

What additional functions we're you interested in?

A lot of thank's.

-Omnirig support could be the FIRST One for a lot of Hams.
Supporting Omnirig integration with a Ham Transceiver is very easy.
And...if omnirig were supported an option to follow Omnirig VFO A or VFO B

-To can change serial port parameters (Speed mainly).

Haven't heard hide nor hair of you since [BBReg].

Cat or Omnirig

Dear Tag,

With regard to the above, as a minimum one would like to be able, directly in SDR#, to link up with something like Omnirig, to effortlessly import frequencies and settings from any of the Airspy family SDRs  (also RTL-SDR).

In the simplest instance I would want to use SDR# to do any tuning ,or scanning, then effortlessly (automatically) transfer this frequency or setting to another possibly non-sdr radio such as an ICOM HF, so I can transmit on that.

Ultimately one would like to have a single SDR# screen showing  almost DC to Daylight, or anything in-between.

An ideal system would automatically switch to the best radio/SDR for a specific frequency, set the necessary filters/ATU attenuators for each SDR or Radio and and manage antenna switching and interlocking to prevent damage to other components.

I haven’t looked at Omnirig lately, but as far as I remember, it was at least fairly close to that capability.

You could use the scanners/databases in Airspy to find a frequency and see the spectrum, then automatically select a specific Radio or SDR  for optimally monitoring a specific band, or have a QSO on a specific radio.

However, by this time it would no longer be simply a CAT, but an Elephant with trunks like an octopus!

I have a clear view of what I want, but I don’t think I have done that clarity justice in the short description above.

Hello Tag,

99% of the users will be happy to have the option when double click on the spectrum/waterfall signal to tune the main radio to that frequency.
One click will do the same as up to now, tune to that frequency on the SDR#, double click will do the same plus tune the main radio over the CAT to the desired frequency.
Possibility to choose whether the CAT will do that on VFO-A or VFO-B or on the Main or Sub receiver is like driving the Mate Rimac Concept One car :-)
Changing the modes and other features is handy but not so important as tuning the frequency,

Adam

I think the same as Adam:
Omnirig with the option to follow VFA A or B (Main or SUB) could be great.
