Guido I think I understand what you are looking for...

Tune the LO and and the marker is restricted to only move in the displayed bandwidth. Is this correct?

If so I could make you a plugin to do this very easily.

Indeed, that is a RP-SMA connector. In addition, "looks very similar" is still a couple steps far off from "exact part number or compatible" replacement. The Molex 73251 series of through-hole PCB panel mount connectors may be it, but I would still like a more certain assessment.

There is the Frequency Lock plugin...

Thanks. Of course I can put the focus on another app or minimize SDR#, but I would like to listen to several frequencies while recording without ruining it.. I use it mainly for FM-band DXing.

Unless you do it full screen you can move the cursor onto the background
window and click there. Then any keyboard bumps go to the desktop.

Hi Markus,

maybe you are loosing samples due to a data bandwidth bottleneck somewhere? Did you try to reduce the device sample rate i.e. changing device_sample_rate from 6000000 to 3000000 in spyserver.config?

If I want to do the same thing using spyserver it does not work. I can see the same signal, if I listen to the sound it is identical to my ears but the decoding sw can not decode a single payload frame. It does receive the signal and shows the headers but no payload data. I have played for hours with many parameters in spyserver.config and the source settings in SDR# with no success. If somebody got this working or has helpful tipps I would be very thankful.

Seconds in transit. (Don't forget the time zone corrections, the -700 and -400). They all refer to essentially the same time.

Hi Prog,

Thanks for the quick reply, performance was a concern too, I will have a look at something else.

Re: SDR# ARM Processor #hardware

Not sure why anyone would use the Surface for any thing serious, but anyway. The CPU they use can run x86 code in emulation mode, and this is supported by the OS, but I don't expect a stellar performance. A cheaper $100 tablet with an Intel Atom can do the job flawlessly.

Hi all,

I am thinking of buying a Microsoft surface pro X however it uses a ARM processor, does any one know of this would work with Airspy?

Thank you.

Jeff's FreqMgrSuite + Scanner & SDR# Questions #sdrsharp

rmrrgs

Hello,

Have been able to install and get operational Jeff's FreqMgrSuite + Scanner with latest version of SDR#.  Running W10.
Or, at least I think I have.

I would like to download and keep as a database in the program eibi, ILG, etc.
Would then want to enable the Markers function, where the peaks would be identified in the Spectrum Display from one of
these downloaded databases.

Cannot figure out how too.

Might some, please, help me re how I do it.

Three items I guess:  the database downloading, having the Markers show, and selecting from which databases the Markers are coming from ?
Again, step-by-step would be great.

BTW:  Anything I need to download that is an option perhaps ?

Any other downloads that would be good to have, in your opinions (from where) ?

Much thanks, appreciate the help,
Bob

Understood, but as I said I couldn't find those incredibly narrow bandwidths specified in the Bandplan.xml file and after unchecking and checking the box, the issue went away. Hence I'm not sure the Bandplan.xml ist the the culprit.

Thanks

Ok, to be more specific, as a hardware design engineer of multiple years, what right-angle, through-hole SMA connector part number should I consider to replace the stock connector that has a damaged center contact? If someone knows the exact component or compatible, that's much easier than buying calipers and trying to narrow down candidates from (obvious) distributor sources of connectors.
