Re: New SDR# NR algorithm released
I do not see a menu entry for NNR, so is this incorporated into the existing AF noise reduction plug-in/component?
Thank you.

Re: New SDR# NR algorithm released
Sweet! The new algorithm definitely helps S/N on SSB and CW signals! Weak CW becomes almost "armchair copy" and weak SSB signals that are down in the noise become much more intelligible.
I'm liking this! 👍 The "Boost S/N" checkbox option no longer seems to do anything though. -- --Bryon, NF6M

Nice
so just on my afternoon sstv session , and fired up IF noise reduction settings talk and around -18.2 to 15.2 , almost no noise .. floor around -80 ~-77 a bit of twinkling .. but very good more experimenting .. nice

You do need to stop HDSDR to change. HDSDR does not seem to offer decimation Joanne, I do not know if it is hidden in some other setting that is not called decimation. It is a simple, oldish program that does the job adequately. 73 Alan G4ZFQ

You will have to talk to the HDSDR driver for AirSpy
HF+ about that. However, in general you are better off at full
bandwidth using decimation to limit the bandwidth.

I can change the bandwidths with SDR-Console but I like the recording interface on HDSDR better.

Re: SDR_ Accessibility Plugin
alexandru
Hello Edward,
That's is two good news, the first is that you feel much better, and the second is that this project with plugins will continue ! I need it because I'm building a Go Box and there will be some encoders on the panel with which I can control SDR #, respectively zoom +/-, volume, frequency up down and a fine adjustment (smaller steps) of the frequency if possible ( or at least the possibility of changing steps), switching bands and working modes. Edward, I wish you a speedy and complete recovery, strength of work, which is much appreciated by many radio amateurs and enthusiasts of RF receptions.
my best regards & 73, de alexander - yo2ldk

I appoligize. I have been dealing with some health problems since last fall. As a result I have accomplished very little. However as I am writing this I am installing Visual Studio and restoring my development tolls and projects back on my new computer. This is my official comeback. Yes, all the plugins I made previously that are still relevant to the new version of SDR# are in process of complete redesign in the new framework. Old versions will be archived and available for download on my new website which will be up and running in a few weeks. I will keep you all updated. I appoligize for the long long absence.

I find it weird that I post on a forum that had not been used in 2 years and 30 minutes later the entire planet net came back online. It took a bit of working around, but I am back online with at least one of my radios.
