Sorry about the duplicate files I left in the zip file.
They are just place holders showing which files to delete. The newer files have the version number at the end of the plugin folder. Delete the duplicates without a version number. When, I add new a dll folder to the Plugins folder I always put the new version number at the end so I can track plugin updates. Example: New folder with newer dll files - ctcssdecoder_v1.3.5.0 Old folder with outdated dll files - CTCSSDecoder You can also see the version number in SDRSharp Plugins.  If, you do not delete the old duplicate folder you will see its version number in the Plugins also. My operating system has changed since SDRSharp version 1906 install. I was running Windows 10 Pro with the Oct. 2022 update 22H2 until late Dec. 2022. I updated my Windows OS to Windows 11 Pro with the 22H2 update. I am running SDRSharp 1909 without any problems using the work around I outlined in the previous message. I have tried to install SDRSharp with the SDR# with Community Plugins installer with the newer versions of SDRSharp since then with the the same Calico CAT plugin problem since version 1906. I did manually try to download the all the plugin files from SDR# with Community Plugins installer web page created by Rodrigo Pérez with the following errors listed in the previous message. I am also in the USA, so this may be a different problem due to the blocking of the rtl-sdr.ru web page for me when I try to manually download the plugins. No problem when I used the SDR# with Community Plugins installer at SDRSharp version 1906. I have included a new zip file without the older dll plugin folders also for anyone to use if they want. We just need a better repository system for SDRSharp. Hunting for all the plugins is a pain. One solution could be to have links to all the Plugins from the main Airspy web site if possible if you are a developer of the plugins so manually fetching plugins is a littler easier or even on the forum web site would be nice.

@JD356 Tnx for the 7-zip file, appreciate it very much. After installing a bare 1909 version and having copied the plugins from the .7zip file in the plugins directory, some are double in that directory. (old and new versions). After starting the SDR program, there is also an error.log file beeing generated, containing various error messages. The 'new' SDR# version is not as plugin friendly and many plugins are also outdated. Have a look in your SDR# program map and find out yourself... I'm still experimenting and figuring out which plugins I can remove. Because of this I often use older versions, 1732 and earlier (1700 and 1727) are more stable but do have less options.

So here are my findings. The plugins file I included should help out a lot of people. Just follow the steps I outlined. The reason the Plugin Calico CAT does not work is because the web site for the plugin does not exit anymore. I just posted the problem with the installer. The CalicoCAT plugin web site is dead.
That is the reason why the installer does not work. The SDR# with Community Plugins installer has not been updated to adjust for the dead links to plugins. The last time the installer was updated was 2019 according to the web page 2019 date at the bottom. Here is my work around that works. Use the SDR# with Community Plugins installer. When the installer stops working click cancel. Go to the main SDRSharp folder where you see all the folders. Use the plugins file I have included. Copy and paste over all of the files in the Plugins folder. Delete the older duplicate files. Run SDRSharp. This solved my problem, but it is still the installer that needs to be fixed since the CalicoCAT plugin web site is dead.

Hi Ken,
sort of in the same boat. Was able to get past the CalicoCat error by unselecting it during the install however now the install is failing on OmnirigSync. Apparently I hosed my previous community install by uninstalling everything prior to upgrading to rev 1909. I've tried changing to a virgin directory for the install path but it still bombs out on these two. Is there a OmniRigSync plugin that I can manually install in the appropriate folder similar to missing CalicoCat.dll supplied earlier in the thread, or is there a alt way to get a clean install? The SdrSharp Noise Reduction and Noise Blanker algorithms are superior that those on my radios. I want to use my AirSpy Discovery for receiving and sync my transceivers so that I may transmit.

To conclude, installing 1909 with no other end-user intervention other than changing the mode to NFM, adjusting squelch, and changing decimation, my audio sounds perfect, as it did before this oddity started. This is on all three aforementioned installations. Thank you.

This does not replicate very old versions, but should sound "louder" if you prefer. For further audio shaping, I recommend using Marco's Equalizer plugin. It's made for this kind of situations.

OK, tinny not drop outs. I'm sorry, I thought I heard you mention drop outs. It was a senior moment. That suggests some setting or maybe results of another code change turned off NFM deemphasis or set it to a goofy frequency. (Motorola different from RCA different from GE different from Kenwood different from of course. Also likely different for different services.) No plugins is an important test. You isolated it to the main code not somebody else's code. I wonder if a band plan setting changed. I think you are saying all frequencies; but, your interest might be military listening that may have acquired a wrong default. Does the "filter" button make it sound correct? If so it probably
includes deemphasis filtering as well as any high pass filtering
that also mutes CTCSS tone to the ear. (It should not mute it to
where the CTCSS plugin connects.) That's all I can think of as

Ooops...forgot that I also tried a completely new/clean install of 1906 on the setup with the R2, with no plugins at all, and the result was the same, "tinny" audio on NFM signals.
