AirSpy vs USB Dongle on Samsung Tablet
#airspydiscovery
Hi Everyone, new guy here. I did poke around, but not quite seeing a complete answer. I have lots of SDR USB dongles, a Hack RF, and even the old SDR IQ receiver. Only mentioning that for background,

True, and any individual Kiwi operator can limit incoming connections that support the TDOA service.

Re: TDOA and SdrSharp
The problem here is that you need the receivers time synchronized in order to measure the time difference. As far as I know the kiwi receivers are GPS synchronized in order to achieve this.

Re: SDR++ crashing with Airspy R2 on MacOS Catalina
Hi Alex,
Any idea if you will support Mac running M1 processor any time soon, I have come to the conclusion this is my issue.

Hi Paul,
I suspect you are correct in assuming ‘Time Difference of Arrival’. The Kiwi network of SDR receivers (similar to the SpyServer network) provides a utility where you can use a map

Re: AirSpy R2 Heat build-up
Frank,
Just FWIW I keep my Pluto + TX preamp/amp cool with this excellent USB fan. Draws only 1 or 2 watts, on low speed it’s quiet.
In general it doesn’t get too hot in Cornwall,

Time Difference Of Arrival, i’m assuming
does everyone out there recognize this acronym ?
anyway what’s the interest here ?
are we talking about multiple receivers and triangulation, passive

AirSpy R2 Heat buildup
My R2 gets very hot after just an hour or so of operating. I recently attached two small heatsinks to the case to try and help it dissapate some of the heat.
I think the performance is suffering

TDOA and SdrSharp
Hi, do you plan to develop a TDOA plugin for SdrSahrp? It is the tool that would make the software even more attractive.

Re: Where to set the IF frequency coming from the Icom 7600
Alternatively, you could avoid modifying your radio and instead make use of the 'RX Loop' ports on the back of the IC-7600.
You can feed the 'output' port of the RX Loop into a 2-way splitter, then

Hi Alex,
I also have the same issue
It seems to be an issue with Monterey and build 1.0.25 I actually gave up with it due to the crash at start but will try again and catch the crash dump in the next

Joanne,
Probably why I wrote "standard" in quotes! It would be helpful if the Audio

Out of addled curiosity why do you think CDROM sample rates are the industry standard? The hardware in modern PCs is based on 48 kHz and harmonics. Of course, getting to 48 kHz audio

With the Community Edition, there is an audio recorder plug in with a variety
of sample rates all based on 8 kHz or multiples. It would be helpful if these
could be expanded in the future to include
