The method the plug-in uses requires a few zero crossings to occur in the audio buffer to detect the tone.
Because the new SDR# (1822) has reduced its audio buffer size, the plug-in is no longer able to see the minimum amount of zero crossings to detect any tones. For me the number of samples in the buffer went from 1664 to 256".

I hope Prog will find a way to fix this glitch.
So basically this plugin never worked with low latency sound cards.
=> Buffer the samples you get and only process when your reach the right size.

Yes everything was fine The only thing I can think of is I have installed the new version of Jaero & Jaero  Display
both work ok but showing only low volume Tekmanoid especially very dull waterfall I did mention this to Jonti
author of Jaero about the vol indicator but he said his works O,K

Will go over things again and check Thanks for the reply

Not going to help much Derek but I haven't noticed any issues with VAC/Windows 10 when using it to route audio to various decoder software (including Tekmanoid/Jaero/DSD) on three different machines.
Can only suggest you recheck your system for any changes which could have affected the audio transport.

No one knows how to reach thewraith2008 ?

Last year, he quickly stepped in to make changes to his Frequency Manager and Frequency Scanner plugins to address Telerik issues, among others, and I seem to have read a few posts from him on the Airspy forum, but maybe he doesn't check it anymore.

Increased to 100ms (from 50ms default) and indeed has improved, now I am using SR 384Kbps and seems to be better, still testing

Don't. Not only you get zero support, but if you insist, you also expose yourself to anyone who wants to infect your system with malware.
Btw, new topics that start with a very old versions are rejected altogether until the person updates.

Using the above type of VAC on Win10 machine Recently noticed I have to increase the master volume in SDR# to get a decent signal and that the volume indicator in
Jaero no longer lights up as it use to I have checked all sound settings and all appear in
Order I also use Tekmanoid decoder and the waterfall indicator is very weak in that
to even though the program works ok On checking in VAC control panel
The signal indicator shows very little movement Anyone else come across this
Any suggestions welcome

I noticed that as well with the latest version. A good option is to download KGTone and use the DSD plug-in from rtl-sdr.ru to send the audio to it (and DSD+ if you use that to decode digital modes such as P25, DMR, etc) via a Virtual Audio Cable or VB Cable.

KGTone link: <http://www2.plala.or.jp/hikokibiyori/soft/kgtone/index.html>http://www2.plala.or.jp/hikokibiyori/soft/kgtone/index.html

KGTone can be used in many different ways, and also simply to view the received subaudible tone.
I'm running 1818 & none of the CTCSS plugin decoders work. When they did they worked poorly, so I gave up on them & use KG-Tone. If the plugin is updated for the new SDR#, hopefully the author will fix the unreliable decode issue.

Even though my servers are running and accessible 24/7, they tend to disappear from the map at random intervals. Stopping/restarting spyserver puts them back onto the map, at least for a little while. This has been the case since I put my first server online several years ago.

Those in green connect as expected either using the directory link or by manually typing the sdr ip:port
My own (which aren't displayed) also connecting without problem via external network

Parallel Desktop's virtualization of the USB bulk transfers may be a little lacking. That is not uncommon for virtualization efforts.

Could sample-rate affect emulation workload? that provokes such sort of crackling noise that makes uncomfortable to listen to any transmission?

I have been tweaking all the possible parameters of Parallel Desktop to improve performance but with not success until I discovered that reducing Sample Rates improve the quality of the sound.

Re: Frequency Manager Suite 2.2 hotfix

Think I've figured out what's going on here.

Brought up the IF Filter plugin to monitor the center frequency and noticed that some planes are transmitting slightly off frequency.  I've got the bandwidth set to 8khz, so the bandwidth is wide enough to hear the audio without distortion.

I'm using the Frequency Scanner/Frequency Manager to scan the UHF aero band and am finding the scanner is recording a higher Frequency than the VFO is showing.  For example, the VFO will show 257.8000 MHz, but the listing in the Scanner is 258.9875.  I can watch the Activity Time increment, so I know what frequency is being monitored.

Just downloaded 1822 today.

Any ideas ?

Thanks,

You may download the new version from http://www.freqmgrsuite.com/.

NOTE: this hotfix requires SDR# 1812 or newer.
