Re: Anyone running a Spyserver on LF 136kHz in Europe??

Chris, the maximum session time was set to thirty minutes. I've now extended it to two hours. It circumvents users who forget about their connection and eat valuable bandwidth while they beeswax polish their wooden shack call signs etc. :)

SDR# remote control options #sdrsharp

Natalia Molinero

Hi there,

I've checked there is this option to remotely control SDR#. However, there are some functions missing such as Recording. I was wondering if there is any other alternative to remotely control it or if it's easy to add this functionality in the code, as it looks to me all the methods are defined here, but I'm not sure about the dependencies that may have and even if it's possible at all.

Thanks!

Hello prog,

What i am seeing is the software runs for about 30 minutes, then
freezes and reverts to circa 14MHz. I have to rest the frequency to
136kHz and restart and also reset to a lower bandwidth display. Am I
missing a setting or is there an explanation why it does this please?
PC is running Windows 7 64 bit Pro, but I am using 32 bit version of
the software, latest release 1.0.0.6007 Thanks.

Hello prog,

Thanks for that, remarkably impressive, quite awesome, if only I had a
decent internet connection here I would love to run a server myself. :(

Robust streaming from Carl Laufer (RTL-SDR.com) in New Zealand to Paris, France. Here with a Wellbrook Loop antenna and a HF+ prototype.
Many monster AM BC stations over there.

And not direct to my home either. The traffic goes to the web server first then it gets bounced to my UP-Board at home.

Also,

If you scan SDR# or my software in the same way Depends does you see that almost all the 'possibly naughty' Windows API calls are used, so no harm in suggesting our programs are bad 'uns.

Myself, I'll soon be paying ~ £200 / year for a code signing certificate from GoDaddy so:

* My software will be signed
* I'll have https://www.sdr-radio.com etc.

PITA.

When I unzipped SDR Sharp Build 1604 and try to run SDR#, AVAST alerts me of this being a threat and the entire folder containing SDR Sharp EXE has been automatically sent to AVAST LABS for testing...........
==========================

Tyler,

Some of these so-called anti-virus programs simply assume that anything they haven't seen before must be a virus. Same for each and every new version of SDR#. Try an independent check such as:

Re: Problems with SDR# software (later than version 1491)

Doug Lewis

(1605 32bit) Although the DSD plugin functions for me I have continuous (DSD Use buffers) lost buffers building up preventing audio to pass to DSD+ for decoding.  Does anyone know why later versions of SDR# has this issue? Or how to prevent it?

V 1427 and prior work fine having zero lost buffers, anything later seems to have the lost buffers issue (for me anyway)?

Thanks

Agreed... no problems in v1602 with any of the plugins I'm using.... AuxVFO, Freq Scanner, CTCSS & DCS, DSD, and others.

Please, please, please, get straight to the point. The probability that someone reads your mail to the end is inversely proportional to its length. I had to "sample" key words to understand the problem.

Here's a one liner fix: Update everything including Vasili's plugings and you should be fine.
