Hi David could it be an NIH syndrome ......it is a "Local" mode and I think the s/w you mention is predominantly generated in Europe, and I guess we dont have it here. Needs a clever US coder to get to work. :-))

Subject: [airspy] SDR applications that support HD-Radio : was New review of the Airspy R2 for FM DX

Thanks for the link as that was an interesting read.  That does bring up a question that I've been unable to find an answer to:

Why don't any SDR applications ideally on Linux (Gqrx) but even on WIndows programs (SDR#, SDR-Console, etc) support HD-Radio?

Is this a licensing issue?  Couldn't this be resolved via a commercial plug-in?  Maybe there is some available software that CAN do this?

Re: Android app

Why would you run an SDR in such a restricted OS? Get any cheap Windows tablet and run the fully fledged softwared on it. Not only it has more functionality, but you also have the processing power of a small desktop.
We have been all waiting for that platform to mature and be usable for productivity apps, but it looks like Google don't want it to be more than a gadget to consume its services.

Good afternoon!
Which is the most reliable Android app you run in order to utilize in best way AirSpy R2 in Android 4 or newer release?

Thank you!
Dennis.

A lot of thank's.

Doing some tests...in the future i will change to an Odroid.

Re: Problem trying to run Spyserver

For RPi3, 2.5 or 3 MSPS is about the right limit. If you use an Odroid XU4, you can fo with 10MSPS without problems.
I think the default configuration should work for all.

A lot of thank's and excuse me becouse not reading quickstart guide.

I didn't know about it.

I had to dist-upgrade to testing version of raspbian becouse we have gcc 4.x on stable.

Hi,

I'm pleased to forward some good news from COMINT Consulting. Now Krypto500 v.1260 supports the Airspy R2 + SpyVerter "combo" natively.
Krypto500 is a high performance software suite dedicated to narrow band signal analysis, classification and decoding.

Have a look on the official announcement here: http://www.comintconsulting.com/blog/new-krypto500-version-released-ten-10-new-decoders/

Support for the upcoming Airspy HF+ will be added and announced when ready. If things go well, the SpyServer can also be of the party.

Thanks!

The first thing to do is to read the quickstart guide. 99.99% of the questions asked in this forums have answers in the website, but people still prefer asking because it's quicker.
Then when you have read it all, think about installing GCC5.

This is the proverbial "when everything falls on your head at the same time."
Software wishlists will be processed when the HF+ is launched.

Hi

the cost of the Kripto 500 is around $ 7500 for the basic version then there is special versions ..
again this software is not intended for the radio hobbyist but only for Gov agencies ..

Re: Enclosure for Airspy HF+ #hardware

Are the hot spots thermally taped to make contact with case? Hadn't seen this detail so wanted to ask.

Re: Astro Spy - Signal Level Range

I would like to see the Astrospy software to be able to periodically log the averaged spectrum to a csv file.  A couple of other things on my wish list, but this would be a good start.

Re: Enclosure for Airspy HF+ #hardware

New pics of the HF+ enclosure with surface finish. Note the laser scraped surface for the USB fingerstock and the SMA connectors.
Now you won't be ashamed to show your radio to your non-ham friends. This one doesn't look like the typical weekender project  :-)
