This short Twitter video struck me as too BoP-ish not to pass along. Seems more airshow and less exercise, but definitely reminds me of some tournament scenarios.

The video appears to. E shot in one of the sqn dispersals at Skrydstrup AB, and it looks *a lot* like the finale of the squadron-sized display routines from the late 1990’s to very early 2000’s - full 16-Ship diamond would overfly the rwy, do a couple of formation turns, and then disappear off to the horizon for a few minutes, usually while some helo got to show its stuff. The helo would depart, and the crowd given a 15-second warning that cool sh** was about to go down, after which the whole squadron would converge out of nowhere, from 8 directions, 2-ship elements in trail to achieve 8 minimum spaced attack runs on display center, separated by attitude, with lots of low level evasion and pulling G’s (we’re talking 100-150 feet for the lowest)
