Thought it was time to update everybody on the status of Rick Fredericksen's and my book now titled "Hot Mics & TV Lights: The True Story of the American Forces Vietnam Network."
After almost a year and a half of knocking on every agent's virtual door that I could dig up that handled military, war, and broadcasting, I've decided to approach publishers directly. Probably something, given the niche we are in, that I should have done a year and half ago! Live and learn!
I've sent proposals and queries to a half dozen publishers thus far and gotten back positive interest from two. This is a good sign that things are headed in the right direction.
Things could still take a while, but I promise to keep everybody updated
