Dear Friends,
We are now just four days away from the Joint Israeli-Palestinian Memorial Day Ceremony and the pressure is growing. In the past week alone, the Israeli Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, has imposed a ban on permitting bereaved Palestinian families, our partners and even our staff from attending the ceremony, and we have been the target of a wave of hostility and hate.
This is now a test of democracy. In 2018 and 2019, the Supreme Court upheld our appeal to allow Palestinians from the West Bank to attend the ceremony in Tel Aviv, following a similar attempt to block them. It was simply undemocratic to impose the ban. We have instructed our legal representative, and are waiting for a decision on whether the ban will stand. We are staying hopeful, but we may have to deal with the painful reality that Palestinian families won't be allowed to be with us. This is not a matter of security, it is oppression in it's most blatant form.

הטקס כבר מעבר לפינה.
זה הזמן שלנו לסגור את כל הקצוות, לעבור מפעולות של הכנת הטקס לפעולות של הכנת המקום שלנו בפארק, לטפל בכל הדורש טיפול בענייני הקהל המגיע ולהכין כל מה שצריך ליום שני ה-24.4 ב-20:30 – לרגע שבו ראידה אדון ויוסי צברי יעלו לבמה ויגידו לקהל שבפארק ולקהל שצופה מהבית – ערב טוב, ברוכות וברוכים הבאים לטקס יום הזיכרון הישראלי-פלסטיני ה-18.
רישום לטקס
השנה אנחנו מבקשים מכם להירשם לטקס לפני הגעתכם.
הבקשה הזאת נובעת משיקולי בטיחות, לפי הוראות אנשי האבטחה שלנו, והרישום כולל גם תרומה לטקס. המטרה היא כפולה:
(1) כך אנחנו מקטינים את הסבירות להרשמה של גורמים מתנגדים שמטרתם להפריע.
(2) כך נוכל לזהות ולאמת פרטים במידת הצורך.
אנחנו יודעים שרובכם כבר תרמתם, ולכן שמנו בטופס אפשרות לתרומה המינימלית ביותר האפשרית – שכרגע עומדת על שקל אחד – לצד אפשרויות תרומה נוספות, שאנחנו עדיין זקוקים להן לכיסוי האירוע.
אנחנו מקווים להבנתכם ולשיתוף הפעולה שלכם בשמירה על מתחם הטקס בטוח לכולן ולכולם.
להרשמה הגעה לטקס
הטקס, כאמור, יתקיים בפארק הירקון.
בטופס הרישום יש אופציה לסמן הגעה בהסעות – מחיפה, ירושלים ובאר שבע. מספר המקומות מוגבל.
חניונים לבאי הטקס:
3 - בתוך תל אביב ניתן להגיע לאזור הפארק בקווים 47 ו-48
4 – רכבת – תחנת האוניברסיטה
*אנא ודאו את קיום ואת מועדי תנועת התחבורה הציבורית.
כניסת הפלסטינים לטקס
ביום חמישי בערב נודע לנו על החלטתו של שר הביטחון יואב גלנט שלא לאפשר לשותפינו הפלסטינים להיכנס לישראל. הבחירה של השר גלנט להתיישר לפי צו השעה הימני קיצוני מצערת מאוד. חבל ששר הביטחון מוצא לנכון לעשות הון פוליטי על גב הטקס. אנחנו כרגע שוקלים את צעדינו, וכמובן נספר על כל התפתחות.
