בתחילת אוקטובר השנה יצאנו בפעם ה- 17 למסיק הזיתים השנתי שאנו מקיימים בצפון הגדה המערבית, במטרה לסייע לחקלאים הפלסטינים למסוק את היבול הרב שהצטבר בעצים.
למעלה מ- 30 ימים של מסיק ויותר מ- 600 מתנדבות ומתנדבים הגיעו לקחת חלק, וסייעו במאמץ אדיר לחקלאים. רבים אחרים שלא יכלו להגיע, חיזקו אותנו בתרומה או בתמיכה ציבורית. וגם כשעמדנו מול מתקפות אלימות מצד פורעים משיחיים, המשכנו כדי לקיים את ההבטחה: עד אחרון הזיתים.
עכשיו הזמן לומר תודה לכל מי שהגיע, לכל מי שתרם ולכל מי שתמך. במאמץ משותף לכולנו הוצאנו לפועל את המסיק המשמעותי והגדול ביותר שחווינו. לכן, האירוע שלנו לחודש זכויות האדם ישים במוקד את המסיק ואת המשך העשייה בתחום.

Early this October, we embarked on Rabbis for Human Rights' 17th annual Palestinian olive harvest.
An unprecedented harvest in our history, we took out over 600 volunteers to help Palestinian farmers pick their olives in the Northern West Bank for over thirty days! Our help made a tremendous difference for the farmers. Many who could not join us in the groves supported us with generous donations and/or their public support of our efforts. Even as we faced violent attacks from Messianic goons, we continued to keep our promise: until the last olive.
Now is the time to say thank you to everyone who joined us and everyone who contributed and supported us in some way. The harvest was a success because of your support and solidarity.
