Light Duty Satellite Antenna Rotator

I looked at this too and believe they are selling basically the mechanical parts:  mount, servos and limit switches.

What is missing is the controller to drive the servos to track the satellite in response to inputs from your tracking software, reorient the mount to continue tracking beyond the limits, as well as to initially orient the mount (north-south, level, etc.).

However, looks like he sells a solar tracking controller:

Does anyone use a solar tracker mount to aim a sat antenna , its in the under $200 class... seems like it might be useable.
a rain coat coer and a few switches to control and good to go.

I'm currently designing an electronically scanned phased array SAT antenna.
Totally quiet & stationary; no XY motors needed. Small, lightweight.

They told me they have 200 parts kits, but apparently are waiting on a key component.

Thanks. I've been thinking of getting an inexpensive antenna rotator for satellites. Sadly due to Covid they are out of stock presently but if you keep checking back, they are still making them. https://www.sarcnet.org/products.html
