So how do I keep each piece of data in its own column?

I hear your question - but do not understand it. None of the sat tracking programs I use or recommend require any data to be entered into "columns."

Copy the text, and save it as a PLAIN TEXT file. Many sat tracker programs can import a plain text, two-line element file.

I use “Orbitron” which requires that the Keps. Data, if not already formatted, from Celestrak.com act. And you try and cut paste the data to the Amateur.txt file. All of the numbers have to be aligned to the 2-line data format or the program will not read it.

The problem is: When I cut and paste Keps from another source the program I use won’t read them unless they are in the proper columnar and line position, just like the two-line Keps are supposed to be. Without posting a copy of the two-line table that is my best explanation for the problem.

Forgive me if this has already been posted, as I just joined.  Even if you prefer your own tracking program, it is easy to track using the AMSAT tracking, which now has ARRISSat-1 in the database.  I usually use HRD Satellite tracking, but the last time I checked, it still doesn't have ARRISSat.  AMSAT  tracking can be found here:   http://www.amsat.org/amsat-new/tools/predict/

The ARRISSat-1 website also has tracking. http://www.arissat1.com/

Forgive me if this has already been posted, as I just joined ...
NO APOLOGIES necessary! THANKS for the info. WHAT AN EXCITING WEEk for our hobby!

You don't have too enter any keps. In Orbitron, make sure you have the box checked next to Radioskaf-B,
click on the little crossed hammers in the main menu. A new window will open. click "update TLE", then click on the little globe on the upper right of the window. Orbitron will load the latest keps for all the birds(including  ARRISat-1)from Celestrak.

Sorry, I was doing that from memory, they are not crossed hammers, it's a hammer and a wrench crossed.
And it's not "Update TLE", the button says "TLE UPDATER".
Just copied several packets from ARRISAT-1's last pass and didn't have MSSTV running.

Hi Chris!

How about before the Keps. For that satellite were added to the downloadable file?
