QST did a review of the FT65. Take it from there. Some have said (can’t site the source), that the FT65 is the Baofeng version of the venerable FT60. For me, radios with flashlights are to be avoided.

I agree about the FT60. I’ve used mine several times for Xbanding with my FT8800. Odd splits weren’t that hard to do at all. Plus I bought a Heil HTH-Y boom headset that works well except for the ear
