Handicapped Access?

... I always see hams standing while using Arrow Antennas and HTs for their satellite contacts. I use a front wheel walker so I can't carry very much equipment with me.

BNC-to-SMA Adapters - 09/30/09 Update
Just received this reply from Stephen regarding his EXCELLENT BNC-to-SMA adapters. They are made with a hard rubber collar that "mates" wit the case of your radio - to better protect your delicate SMA

CAUTION! Please do NOT use the Yaesu CN-3 BNC-to-SMA all-metal adapter. It provides absolutely NO protection for your radio's SMA antenna connector.

I actually purchased Stephen's adapter prior to getting the AL-800. You can tell that there is some support with the adapter, but like you said - still need to be careful. I must admit it is still
