Yaesu VX-6 for satellite work
The VX-6R just adds a little to RX, and, of course, 1.5W on 220. But the FT-60 has
a much better battery scenario ...
BOTH the '60 and the '6 can be programmed in "split frequency" mode (about page

AO-85 - It's Baaack!
AO-85 is back!!!
Per Paul Stoetzer, N8HM: "It seems to have woken up."
Like AO-07, you just can't keep a good satellite down.
TLE for AO-85 will be included in this week's AMSAT TLE distribution.

They may have heard your grid and needed it but didn't hear your callsign, so they just said your grid. Next time if you hear just your grid, you might try immediately giving your callsign and grid

Thank you. So I was doing it correctly. I was just confused because some of the contacts just repeated my grid location without my callsign. Thanks for the response!

Good catch! As with almost all amateur radio projects, they are experiments and other missions/projects might "bump" them ...
Let's watch our sources and see what happens!

Any word if the event on the 8th might be delayed? The first commercial flight to the ISS has been delayed until Friday.
