Ted Agar <tedagar@...> #344 Afternoon Simon & Crew, Sorry you did not have success with the dishwasher. The only downside I have sufferred was that some of the STC "Blue" coolers lost their colouring, the Siemans ceramic"BA type" with plain alloy cooling fins just occasionally lost the black printing. I had a word with the XYL and all she does is brush the cooling fins with a bottle brush and a little bit of washing up liquid before putting them in the dishwasher. Regards Ted G8AZA Hi Ted I just used some Brasso and a soft cloth - they have come up lovely. The main problem was tarnishing due to smoking. It looked like nicotine stains on the valves and the dishwasher didnt even touch it. The main body of the amp was stripped today and the brass parts all cleaned until they are nice n shiney. Have popped it all back together and took the opportunity to take some pictures of it too. regards Simon GM4PLM
