Having spoken at length with Clark tech support, they recommend any engine oil as a lubricant for the SCAM 12 mast. They also said that the seals will be fine with engine oil and will not deteriorate.

I'd like to know if the PSU is supposed to hum/use around 6w when the power switch is in the off position. If they do, I'll leave it alone and just disconnect the mains when not in use. Many thanks, M
