Scatterpoint activity reports wanted
I’d be very interested in pictures/descriptions of the sort of kit which is in use for short contests /P, either the UKAC’s or Microwave Group Sunday outings. The way to achieve quick but reliable set

The recent query about G8MBU has reminded me to ask about GB3NGI on 23cms:- A couple of weeks ago I used aircraft scatter to compare a dish with a small box of yagis, and on both antennas I had decode

ReE: VHF NFD
I agree with Brian 'DIJ; use of 'KST does not sit well with the ethos of "field day". However, it really is useful on 23 and 70cms where old fashioned "point and hope" is often met with silence. Off t

13cms bandpass filter
Brian Many thanks, that off-air plot is very helpful. The close proximity of 2350MHz to our usual working frequencies is a bit of a challenge, but I'll see what comes of a practical test. Regards John

French 3 & 6 cms contacts during cumulative contest?
Paul It seems to be a lottery regarding who you can get replies from on KST. Somewhat understandable if it’s a single op because there’s lots to do. I got lucky and all three attempts with F stations

Well, I've given up early on this contest, having run out of people to work. Actually, that's not true - I have run out of patience trying to get responses to sked requests on 'KST. Why do people take

Bernie Disclaimer – I’m still learning about microwave dishes and feeds, so I’m prepared to be corrected …….. Directive Systems say that their dual band feed is designed for dishes with an F/D of 0.39
