Using NMEA compass data to align a beam or dish.
Andy, I see this is still on your website: http://www.g4jnt.com/GPLOCDIS.ZIP That includes a "simple NMEA display" (but I take your warning about changes in PIC programming). I built a copy of that mo

Thanks Neil, yes, I've used similar actuators before but that still leave decent 'bearings' to be fabricated. I did hope I could procure something that would be 'plug & play' for such a straightforwar

G4JNT/P 70.030 back on
No, sorry, frequency isn't high, that was a funny where MSHV occasionally makes my K3 read a bit off... I originally though it might be an OCXO warming up after the power out. 73, Phil

Bell Hill beacons
I can hear GB3MCB on 70.025 but your beacon seems to be off Andy, it's usually a good signal with me. 73, Phil G3TCU

KST2ME demise
Your 'web thing' looks very promising Robin, thanks for the effort on that. I like the Chat1/Chat2 approach in KST2me, i.e. all messages and filtered messages. I guess that can also be done with two b

Availability of LDF2-50?
Hi Nick, LDF2-50 is about 11.17 mm OD but several people are suggesting that it wouldn't be any benefit for my application. Thanks for replying anyway, 73, Phil G3TCU

Thanks for the info. David. I currently have M&P Ultraflex 13 between my 23cm antenna connector and my masthead box and it is this that has deteriorated with multiple coiling & uncoilings for each /P

Availability of LDF2-50?
Does anyone know where I can get hold of a short length (I actually want about 3.5m) of LDF2-50? I don't seem to be able to find anyone offering it in the UK. I think it would be suitable for hooking

Andy, I know I'm easily within tropo range (56km) but I can't decode anything. With a H pol beam pointed your way, I hear a weak, fluttery, signal just about all the time and there is 'beep' every 15
