LDMOS mounting inductance confusion
Robin, I think that this is a rather muddily article. He seems not to have understood the subject. Time does not permit a fully reasoned reply at the moment but I hope to get back to it sometime. 73 P

Thanks to everyone who replied. Most helpful. I now have the tower here and am at the drawing board sorting out the steel for the base plate etc. The plates will be laser cut as it is cheaper than buy

Thanks Martin, Yes I have seen this but unfortunately it does not give dimensions for the bigger tower. Yes the Westower is very different with a 6 bolt mounting. 73 Paul

Can anyone help me with the dimensions of the baseplate for an 80' HD versatower. I need: Base widths and thickness, Triangular fillets (I think there are two sizes) long and short edges and thickness

Hi Chris, It sounds like a plausible idea and with the apparently simpler processing it might gain some traction. I would note that tunnel diode logic was being tried in the late 60s at Martlesham. I

Hi Robin, Have you a supplier for the devices? What board material had you in mind? If you are thinking of mounting the board in a milled out channel I can supply screw in SMA connectors FOC. 73 Paul
