Thats a shame, I actually prefer the bands with few contacts ... 23cm has always been a favourite band of mine (even if I am "between aerials" at the moment ... ) I started with 80mw from the "Interdi

Nope, it depends which stackup. 7628 is a 0.2mm outer stack with Er=4.6, the 3313 stackup is a 0.1mm stackup with Er=4.05 Both have the same Er for the solder resist of 3.80 .. it is of course up to y

If ordering 4 layer from JLCPCB note they have two different "stackups" with different material for the 0.2 layer ... you can specify which stackup in the "impedance control" option. They have an impe

Very nice! The main issue is the cost the Ublox units! it soon becomes quite an expensive piece of kit.

Without the schematic or component values, there isn't a lot they can do with it. If I was building military equipment it might be an issue, but otherwise, meh.

I don't think you can do it with a pair of normal GPS units ... you need specific units such as the UBLOX ZED-F9P-04B A pair of these units can operate as "Base Station" and "Rover" ... originally des

That was my plan, once the alignment is locked into the mount, you know *exactly* where it is pointing and it can be turned off. I think it would help greatly when using bigger dishes on 10G, and cert

JLC is embarrassingly cheap. I'd happily use PcbTrain if they could just get close to double or even triple the JLC price, as a UK manufacturer I desperately want to support other UK manufacturers, bu

Yep .. hard to fault really. Had you placed that order for 5 boards, say 40mm x 80mm from PcbTrain .. to get them delivered Thursday would have been £343 ... I suspect from JLC, even with the express

Certainly in the thick of it, there is little/no point in using KST ... but in the wee small hours it can be a useful tool for trying some very distant stations that you otherwise would not be able to

I'm very keen to have a proper go at it next year and put a good signal out in the open section on one band or another ... just need to find a suitable bunch of idiots to join ;)
