Re: Wednesday night 23cm Digifest
Ed,
I run a 44 element Yagi with no physical elevation and get good results, but I am using full legal power which helps!
My antenna is only 8m agl and immediately (50-70cm) above a 5/5 dual band

some in QRA64 as well but not used ityet.

Re: Wednesday night 23cm Digifest
I am really looking forward to getting on 23cms and I think that digimodes will be a big help for me. I will try the new modes but I got to say that really dislike the WSJT-X user interface.

Re: Wednesday night 23cm Digifest
Ed, it's MSK144, not '441' and you would have found plenty of hits.
It is available in WSJT-X version 1.7 which can be downloaded from the link sent yesterday on this Group. The manual is accessible

Interested in the wednesday digi-night. Here in my outpost of activity in the south-west I sit under the flight path into Heathrow from the Atlantic so aircraft scatter should be feasible.

Thanks to all who joined in to the GHz bands "Digifest" around 1296.165MHz last night. There was a good turnout from GI to the East coast with more than 10 stations, some listening and sending reports

Noel
To ease the learning curve, you could start with plain vanilla WSJT:- http://physics.princeton.edu/pulsar/k1jt/wsjt.html
This includes most of the modes used by beacons and microwavers
