Re: Suspicious ADF4351 Devices - may be fakes
OK. That one should work. It looks like a Geeetech.com one. The important thing is that they use the Cypress chip as that it the one that is compatable with the AD drivers.
Like the call sign!

GMRT
I will be attending the Scottish Microwave Round Table next weekend. As I'm flying up I will not be able to take many kits for sale in my carry-on luggage.
Anyone going to the GMRT and wanting me to

Well done on the chip change.
I recently bought three of these boards, one with an ADF4350 and two with ADF4351s. Perhaps I was lucky but all seemed to function as expected. Their PN performance is

Re: Suspicious ADF4351 Devices - may be fakes
Following up Andy's Radcom suggestion of swapping the fake device for a real 4351, I've just done that with a new device ADF4531BCPZ bought from RS (stock no 796-8710, £9) and can confirm that

Probably not. Particularly above 1GHz, a length of flexible cable (unless it's an achingly expensive test cable with precision connectors) plus connectors is more likely than not to have
