Hi Charles
Thanks for the reply. I would have thought there would be more comment on this subject but yours is the only one.
I have looked at the Myriadrf and it looks interesting I will do

Yes, what has happened to design and build in in the rad Am community even over the last 13 years?
I was recently perusing the Jan and Feb 2000 issues of RadCom and they were full of interesting

SHF UKAC tonight
Anyone going to be QRV on 10GHz this evening or should I swap the shack for the garden with a cool beer instead?

Sunday's 24GHz Trophy contest ..help!
How does one enter an online log for this contest when you've used the Rover rule and operated from two separate locations? The contest robot allows only one site to be entered. Do you put into two

Hey, I like that site !
And it also explains why my GPS/NMEA display keeps toggling between IO90IV58 and IO90IV48 (I don't display any higher resolution). That site shows me at IO90IV48XL so

Andy,
Why not use 10 digits locators? It is very easy to get an exact location using no.nonsense/qthmap/
I am sure you could argue about the uncertainty of the distances, but it look pretty good to

Re: Millimetre wave contest entries
If 8 digit locators were used to define location, that would yield 7 points of jitter / uncertainty.
Scoring at 1pt / 100m would mandate paths being calculated using accurate lat/long.
Perhaps

I am very pleased to see that there was activity on several of our mm wave bands yesterday, and that some new paths were proved out successfully.

Response to same old southern sites criticism in Digest 3988
Yesterday saw the 24G and up activity and two new paths at least were worked in the south by G8KQW and G8ACE. Of particular interest I think was Butser to Povington on 76GHz which although is not a UK
